Month 6 of the Journey! I prevail!

SW: 213
CW: 172
GW: 145-130

Wowzas guys. I almost lost all hope in my self being the same weight for about three months straight :/ Whew it was tough to keep on going. But like the phrase, "When the going gets tough the tough get going" That's exactly what I did. I started going to Zumba and this class called Cardio Jam at my college for one hour Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday the last two weeks of May and results have shown! I don't think I look that different, but there is nothing to stop me now! Unless it's my diet, it still stinks...seriously. I make slightly better choices and am going to now start making more choices, such as having smaller dessert portions and not go back for seconds. (of course I'm still going to have desserts, this is a life style change and I am not going to live my life not eating desserts)

I got new running shoes from Macy's and they are sweet! They help me want to go out on runs more. I mean usually I just go do the dance classes and then run home, I'm not running three miles 3 x's a week anymore and that's okay. I go on walks though because it's beautiful outside, but I don't really count that as exercise, it's just leisure. Let's see what next month brings!

Month of May! (Month 5)

Sadly, at my weigh in this morning I weighed 180! Bleh xP
So...

Highest Weight: 213
Current Weight: 180
Goal Weight: 135

I know why I still weigh 180 though. It's all my fault because I haven't gotten a grip on my eating habits...STILL. Well, I am counting calories with Myfitnesspal for about a week now and have been doing well, BUT I have been eating total junk. I need to eat more fruits and veggies. Now that it's May I have a money for groceries again and will use my money more wisely! (John and I do a budget and we ran out of grocery money for about the last week and a half of April) Yeah, so I didn't lose any weight because of parties, John's birthday, and Easter...but hey. I understand that just because it's a celebration doesn't mean I should shove my face...even if I want to. Moderation is key and weight loss is 80% diet. Goodness. I am glad I am trying to change my eating habits now. I know I can do it!

Progress pics...even though weight loss was only one pound haha

Man, look at that ant bite on my back...frisky little guy got me when I was doing yoga. I HATE ants

My Goal clothes!! haha super tight, but they fit...not well, but still haha. I was pointing at my protruding love handles...but I guess they are not as visible as they felt. (ps. sorry for all the serious faces and fake smiles, couldn't bring myself to a real one cause I wasn't feeling it.)

Month 4!

I am feeling so down right now. I didn't lose any weight this past month I actually gained weight! I'm now at 181.

HW: 193
CW: 181
GW: 135

Okay, so I guess I've hit a plateau and my eating habits aren't helping me loose any weight. I am going to be eating healthier this month. I feel really sad. I mean, I exercised and all, but I really let myself down with my eating habits in March. Anywho, I need to press forward. I guess from being 213 and pregnant I am now 181 and should be grateful. So total I've lost 32 pounds from having Eli in me.

Feeling a little better, just checked my BMI and now I am officially overweight and not obese! Whee...well, I'm still on the border of obese I'm at 29.2% But I'm not obese anymore and that makes me happy. Can't wait to work harder this month :)

My diet was suffering so I am now counting calories with myfitnesspal.com my username is sonyamaeservin. I also have been having really bad lower back pains so I'm doing 25 minutes of yoga each morning.

Month 3

Lost another 7 pounds this month. Weighing 179 from 186. I actually weighed myself at another time this month and weighed 183, but right after that I got food poisoning and everything in my system was shoved out. It was two gruesome days, but on the bright side I guess I'm cleaned out and probably back at 179 or less. Went on vacation for the first week of march and ate like a king the whole time, but I don't regret it, I had an awesome time. I still have a very hard time denying sweets, or even staying away from them. :/ I need to start keeping sweets around the house that way I can practice some self control.

Losing weight is HARD! I mean, I was exercising 5x's a week and then it started to snow and I have no motivation for ANYTHING. I am in a serious slump. I love looking at the snow, the clothes for cold weather...and the food. I made pumpkin bread three times this week. I mean seriously, what am I supposed to do with that huge can of pumpkin? Last time I opened one it went moldy and I was not going to let that happen again. But, hey, found my golden recipe on the third try.

Sometimes I don't feel like I am going anywhere with my weight. I look at the scale and it says so, but I look in the mirror and the mirror says, "No you haven't. You will never reach your goals. You eat too many sweets." And it's true, if I keep eating like I do I will never reach my goals. I read on tumblr that being fat is hard and losing weight is hard...chose your hard. So, I chose to lose weight. I can do this. Just have to make wiser choices than as of late.

On a plus note I fit in my goal jeans!!! Size 9/10 Aeropostale, well I should really say I can button them up hahaha I would never wear them in public...yet! :3

Month 2! Progress update :)

Hey, hey, hey! It's Fat Albert lol. Sorry, I had to. Okies here is the good stuff!

Stats-
Height- 5' 6"
Weight- 186

I am now jogging three whole miles without stopping! Still going super duper slow though, but hey, I'm lapping those people on the couch. In other words, at least I'm doing something. Running makes me feel really good and I actually like it. I just wish I could run faster, I have the stamina, I just don't have the strength yet, I am still getting used to carrying this heavier me.

Piktchas!

Man, this losing five pounds a month is feeling kind of tedious! I just want it all to fall off lol I love my new life, going to the gym three times a week, but I wish my body would lose weight faster, I just have to be patient because I am doing this the healthy way and I am actually going to keep this weight off because this is my new lifestyle. Fitting into my pre-pregnancy jeans...well sorta, I still have fat buldgeys haha oh well.

Valentines!

Start of My Journey! Month 1

Stats-
Height- 5' 6"
Weight- 193

After just having my baby December 17th my body naturally shredded some pounds so I went from being 213 to 193 in just a little time. I am hoping to lose a lot more weight. Trying to take things easy is hard, but I have to do this. I go to the gym three times a week and am now able to do a slow jog of 2 miles and then I walk out one mile. I am also breastfeeding my little baby so I hear that aids weight loss, but mostly I am doing it for him. Eating healthy has been a struggle. My husband and I are low on money so we kind of do with what we have and honestly I feel like I don't have that much time because I am being a mamma. I am trying though and will continue to try to make healthier choices. We'll see where this journey takes me :)

Mission Plan

What I'm going to change to get where I want to be
1. Exercise for one hour six times a week. (consisting of mostly cardio and some strength)
2. Use the low calorie dinner plans from Emeals and eat healthy breakfast, lunch and two snacks.
3. Take care of myself mentally by focusing on the positive and being more optimistic about life.
